Are you a Call of Duty Fan?

If you’re impatiently awaiting the next in the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be released in early November.

But in the meantime we found a fascinating look behind the scenes at how the games are created – starting with Sticky notes.

Given that it is a franchise worth millions it is perhaps not surprising that the creations involve hundreds of staff working in studios across the globe, each dealing with specific aspects of the production.

They are from a range of industries, from the technicians who create the software to actors, writers, designers, animators and coders. But also, it seems they use military advisers during the writing process.

The Guardian recently published a detailed look behind the scenes to reveal what is involved.
